Relationship Playbook Annual Toy Drive 2012

Although we are in tough economic times and many of us have less to spend this year than last year, there are still plenty of people in worse financial positions and will not be able to provide any presents for their children this Christmas – some of them are here on TRP. If we can help we should, and here’s your opportunity to do your part.

It’s not about us, it’s about the kids.

This is our 3rd Annual Toy Drive, and to date we have put smiles on the faces of over 100 children who would not have otherwise had any Christmas gifts.   What is different about our toy drive is that we allow the parents to shop for their children and choose what toy (under $25) that would put the biggest smile on their child’s face.

If you would like to make a donation, you can do so securely in a simple one-step process via Paypal.  Donate now. Any amount helps.

For families in need, here is the process:

Email your request to: toydrive@relationshipplaybook.com

The request must include the names and ages of your child(ren), gender, and the reason you’re requesting assistance. (Limit to 75 words)

Go to: Walmart.com and find one item for each child under $25. Include a description of item and web link to identify it. And an alternate item in case first item is unavailable.

The items will be sent to your local Walmart via the Site to Store option, so provide the address for the nearest Walmart.

Your contact information including name on your I.D. (needed to pick up item at store), contact number, and address.

Requests are processed on a first-come, first serve basis.  Incomplete requests will be moved to bottom of list and will not be considered until completed. The deadline to submit requests is Friday, November 16.  We will continue to accept donation until all the requests are fulfilled or Dec. 10, 2012.
