Playbook Report Sept. 2012

Another summer has come to close which for many means the end of summer vacations… children working your nerves being in the house all day.  It also means the beginning of cuffing season when summer flings are replaced with the desired to be “booed up” during the fall and winter months.

Side note: Speaking of replacement, am I the only one that wishes Roger Goodell would just pay the referees their money and end this lockout? These replacement officials are killing the game – just terrible.

But anyways, I wanted to take a moment to update you on what’s going on with TRP.  We started the summer with our You Deserve It Cruise, which was a wonderful week of fun and relaxation in the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. For those kicking themselves with the “I shoulda”, you have an opportunity next year when our You Deserve It Cruise sets sail for Jamaica and the Caymans. Deposits begin at $50 per person.  Don’t wait.

Next, Playbook Radio hit the airwaves again on Monday nights on the Blogtalkradio network and not only are we the Top rated Romance show, we also received a nomination from the 2012 Black Weblog Awards as one of the best podcasts.  Please take a minute and vote for us, along with The Relationship Playbook as Best Sex or Relationships Blog and The Brownness Series as the Best Beauty Blog. We’re going for the three-peat.

Finally the summer ended with our TRP Vegas Getaway, this past weekend.  Don’t ask what went on.  It’s Vegas – you know what it is.

We have a couple of things brewing in the pot for you – details to come soon – but here’s a hint, we’ll be coming to a city near you.  As usual, we are going to continue our Annual Toy Drive again this year, and begin it in the month of October so that we can put smiles on more children faces.

October is Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness month. Ladies check your tatas and know the signs of abuse.

We appreciate your continued support.  Will be in touch.
