You Deserve It FAQ

“You Deserve It” Cruise FAQ

What’s included in cruise fare?
Your cruise fare entitles you to accommodations, meals (excluding Specialty restaurants) and general entertainment aboard ship. Items of a personal nature such as alcoholic beverages and soft drinks, spa treatments, indoor pool relaxation areas, certain specialty exercise classes, shore excursions, etc., are not included.  “TRP Player’s Card needed for all TRP private events, and gifts.

What does “double occupancy” mean?
All cruise rates are based off the expectation of at least 2 people to a cabin. If there is only one person in the cabin, then you still have to pay double occupancy rate for two people.

What if I don’t want to pay for a cabin by myself?
Simply send an email to cabinmate@trpevents.com stating you’re looking for a roomie, and your gender.  We’ll send you the email addresses of those looking for a cabin mate and it’s your responsibility to contact them.  We will only give you information on your same gender.

There are 2 (or more) of us in a cabin? Do we have to make the deposit in one payment?
Yes. You’re making a deposit to secure the cabin as well as the individuals so the deposit for both of you needs to paid at time of reservation.

How much is deposit? When is it due? What does it cover?
Initial deposit of $50 per person ($100 per cabin) is due if you book before October 4, 2012.  This holds a cabin for you.  The full deposit of $250 per person is due by January 4, 2013 and is required for cabin booking.  The Initial Deposit and all monies paid prior to Jan. 4, 2013 counts towards your full deposit.  Remember everything is based off double occupancy so if you’re in a cabin by yourself, the deposit is doubled.  The sooner you make your deposit, the more availability you have with cabin choices.

Are the deposits refundable?
Yes, except for initial deposit of $50. You can get a refund without a Carnival penalty for up until March 6, 2013. Traveler’s insurance protection is also available.

Can I make payments?
Yes. Once you’ve placed a deposit you can make any payment arrangements you’d like, just as long as you’re paid in full by March 6, 2013.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Passport Required?

No.  Although a passport is highly recommended, if you’re a U.S. citizen a government-issued photo ID and one of the following: certified copy of Birth Certificate, Passport Card, or Enhanced Driver’s License will work.  For non-Us citizens, please contact the Consulate of your country for specific travel requirements.  It’s up to the individual traveler to make sure they have the required documentation.  For a list of specific travel documentation requirements, click here.

Can I still attend if I sign-up after January 4, 2013?

Yes.  However the group rate and cabin space wouldn’t be guaranteed.  Your rate would be whatever the non-group rate is at that time.  You’d also have to pay for the entire cruise upfront.
