Form good habits

By: Will Wavvy

This is the 1st affirmation based off the book, The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino. As in the rest of the affirmations in this series, read this out loud, at least 3 times a day (when you first get up, at some point in the middle of your day, and before you go to bed), for 30 days. If this is your first time reading one of these affirmations, you can read a list of all the affirmations, by clicking here.

I choose to form good habits and become their slave.

The only difference between those who have failed and those who have succeeded lies in the difference of their habits.  Good habits are the key to all success.  Bad habits are the unlocked door to failure.  As a child, I was slave to my impulses; now I am slave to my habits, as are all grown men.  I have surrendered my free will to the years of accumulated habits and the past deeds of my life have already marked out a path which threatens to imprison my future.  My bad habits must be destroyed and new furrows prepared for good seed.  I choose to form good habits and become their slave.

I will drive a bad habit from my life and replace it with one which will bring me closer to success.  Only a habit can subdue another habit.  I react to all situations which confront me as my habits command me to act.  My actions and reactions are easy to perform because any act with practice becomes easy.

My good habits will be born because of my positive affirmations. I choose to form good habits and become their slave.

With each posting let us know your thoughts on it,  how your life would change if you applied the posts, and finally how applying the posts has changed your life.

I think I'd like to print each one out… laminate it and put it in the bathroom on the wall, I know for a fact that one way or another… I will go in there at LEAST 3 times for the day. When I'm in there… I'm a captive audience… even of myself!
